What you will do As the Senior Travel and Fleet Officer, you will provide support to the Assistant Manager and oversee the day to day work priorities of the team. Main duties will involve providing policy and process advice, and co-ordinating high level overseas travel bookings. You will: assist with the co-ordination of monthly fleet reconciliation including processing journals assist with updating the department's travel and fleet policies answer ad-hoc queries on various travel and fleet issues develop and maintain a range of stakeholder relationships review and update travel processes provide training on policy, systems and processes participate in system development and upgrades. Eligibility Experience in either fleet management, WoAG travel requirements or within the travel industry is desirable. To be eligible for employment in the APS and the department, applicants must be Australian Citizens.

Senior Travel & Fleet Officer, APS Level 6, Chief Finance Officer Group Apply now Job no: 507249 Employment type: Ongoing Location: Canberra Categories: APS Level 6 About the team The Travel and Fleet Team sits within the Portfolio Budget, Accounting and Financial Policy Branch and is responsible for: Co-ordinating Overseas Travel requests Managing the Departments fleet of leased and owned vehicles Overseeing the Departments travel and fleet policies and processes Providing travel and fleet advice to stakeholders.
