I started my own business 6 years ago and have been successful enough, but the pandemic hit 3 months after my twins were born, when I had already exhausted the biz funds for my maternity leave. I lost my brick and mortar location and employees. I'm currently scraping by doing online consults for existing clients but it's exhausting and far less rewarding. I started looking around and saw this job that is custom tailored to my skill set. My jaw dropped when I read the description. I applied just to see and I got an interview!!!!! I am beyond excited but overwhelmed with fear. I have been out of the corporate loop for a decade. I haven't been on an interview. I haven't done the corporate "boys club" dance in a long time. I want to know what's new in interviews. Any tips? Anyone in HR here with tips on what to do/not do. Are they still asking for strengths/weaknesses? Are we still wearing suits? This is a big step up that I know I'm qualified for but I'm feeling a lot of imposter syndrome.
